Zombie Magazine

Objective

For the Zombie imagery, we had to alter the shape and size and proportions of our facial features, before we worked on the details. Liquify and Puppet Warp were essential for this. They taught us about their destructive processes and and how we should be working on copied layers, early in the manipulation process. Other Photoshop tools were used for this kind of digital touch-ups which included the Healing Brush/Spot Healing/ Patch tool, Clone Stamp tool, Blur, Burn, Dodge, Sharpen, and many other color adjustment tools, effects and filters. The Photoshop file were built in a fully editable and non-destructive way, using adjustment layers, separate healing/cloning layers, smart object layers for filters, layer masks to control visibility and more

Solution

For this project I wanted to mess with my mouth with this pose, so I only used my own photography images that I've taken out in nature and used liquify to squish my nose and stretch my mouth. I then layered on green alge slime and mussles for texture and added it all over my skin to look like I was decomposing
